Q: My computer is not working after installing the power supply. What can I do?

A: If your computer is not functional after installing the power supply, please check the following steps:

1. Ensure that the power supply is switched off and unplugged. Now check all connections to the mainboard, to all components and fans for possible short-circuits and improper connection.

2. Jammed or entangled cables can cause short-circuits. If you find a cable entangled or jammed, check the insulation of it for possible damage. If you encounter one or more damaged cables, do not use the power supply again and contact your retailer for further assistance.

3. To ensure that no defective components are present, try to connect only the most necessary components like mainboard and graphics card with the power supply. Now check if your computer is functional. If the computer is responding properly turn it off again and pull the plug. And then connect one more component and repeat the previously mentioned steps to filter which component is defective. If your computer is still not responding after all, consult your retailer for further assistance.
